The Howard Miller company has been making clocks since 1926. Howard Miler himself was a German who was taught clock making by his father in the Black Forest. The company initially focused on chiming wall and mantel clocks, but also produced avante-garde clocks, which are collectible. Howard Miller is today well known as a grandfather clock maker and calls itself the "World's Largest Grandfather Clock Manufacturer."

The beauty and charm of a howard miller clock are unmatched by other timepieces. These clocks also make great house warming gifts to that family member or friend who has almost everything.
